BIZ4KIDZ – An English project in Year 7

Gescher. Biz4Kidz is a project in Year 7 where we create our own business ideas. We can be creative and learn how to plan and present a small business.

We work in groups and develop our ideas ourselves. Then we present everything in English, for example with a poster, handouts or an announcement. This year there were many great ideas. Some groups sold homemade popcorn, cupcakes or pancakes. Others offered games, sports activities, a small cinema, a video game lunch break or key chains. One group even offered help for neighbours in Gescher.

The best thing about Biz4Kidz is that the money is not for us. We donate it to organisations we choose, for example animal shelters, Gut Feismann or the Year 10 students for their graduation.
